Primary office:

Kate Meyer is the assistant curator of works on paper at the Spencer Museum of Art where she manages a collection of over 18,500 works on paper and shares this collection with patrons. The Spencer’s Print Study Room is an incredibly active space at the museum; engaging approximately 100 classes each year in addition to its Walk-ins Welcome Fridays program where the public can spontaneously request access to the collection. Meyer collaborates with faculty, staff, students and the public across disciplines to integrate the visual arts into the teaching and research mission of the University by facilitating educational access to the Print Study Room in addition to her other curatorial tasks. In 2011, Meyer completed her doctorate KU in art history with her dissertation, Broken Ground: Plowing and America’s Cultural Landscape in the 1930s
