Sofía Galarza Liu is a collection manager at the Spencer Museum of Art of the University of Kansas where she has worked with collections for 15 years. She completed a two-year IMLS grant funded project to digitize the Spencer Museum of Art's collections and was actively involved in the development of the museum’s on-line collection. She has taught courses on collection management for the University of Kansas Museum Studies Graduate Program and has presented at numerous regional conferences on topics including cataloging, inventory, and deaccessioning. Sofía is a contributor to the forthcoming publication, Rights & Reproductions: The Handbook for Cultural Institutions.
