Dr. Chrysikou completed a year-long postdoctoral appointment in cognitive neuropsychology at Temple. Before joining the Department of Psychology at KU, she was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Psychology Department and the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chrysikou uses cognitive neuroscience methods to study how people process information about common objects when solving problems creatively and efficiently.
