Susan Earle is Curator of European and American art at the Spencer Museum of Art, where she has organized more than 30 exhibitions on a range of topics from antique quilts to contemporary video art. She recently organized the acclaimed touring exhibition and book "Aaron Douglas: African American Modernist." She oversees collections of painting, sculpture, and decorative arts from ancient times to the present, with particular expertise in art since 1800.
