(Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) Dr. Haider-Markel's research focuses on public policy, political institutions and public opinion which includes American politics and institutions the presidency and identity politics. In addition he looks at, policy formation and adoption, environmental policy, comparative state politics, bureaucratic politics, extremism and terrorism, and quantitative methods.
