(Ph.D. University of California-Berkley) Dr. Haufler teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on the art and culture of East Asia and directs graduate research on Chinese and Korean art. Her own research focuses on Chinese women artists, Buddhism in the aesthetic life of later imperial China, Tibeto-Chinese art, and most recently, contemporary art in North Korea.
