Professor Hurst primarily teaches Film and Video Production classes. His films include Faker (1999), Bloom (2001), and Burned (2005). He also collaborates as a sound designer on fiction and documentary pictures, including Kansas vs. Darwin, Fall From Grace (both 2007) and Bunker Hill(2008). Current research in development includes Saints, a fictional feature about an Iraq War veteran living with Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome.
