Kelly Kindscher is a Senior Scientist at the Kansas Biological Survey and a KU Professor in the Environmental Studies Program. As a plant community ecologist and ethnobotanist, he has research interests in medicinal plants and prairie plant ecology. He has helped lead the Native Medicinal Plant Research Program and the KU Field Station’s Medicinal Plant Garden as part of unique, nationally acclaimed research efforts by KU scientists working on natural products.
