Dr. Masinton taught English and American literature at KU for 34 years. His specialties were modern fiction and drama. As a Professor Emeritus, he now teaches in the Humanities and Western Civilization program at KU. He and his wife, Martha, have two daughters, Claire and Carolyn, and nine grandchildren.
