Primary office:

Dr. Mirecki teaches and researches ancient Mediterranean religions, languages and archaeology. His special area is previously unstudied Egyptian papyrus scrolls and books in the Greek and Coptic languages. He has published several rare manuscripts housed in European and American museums, including a previously unknown early Christian gospel of the second century and an Egyptian papyrus scroll of the afterlife dating to ca. 950 BCE.
