(Ph.D., Purdue University) Dr. Omelicheva's research and teaching interests include Eurasian security and human rights. She has written and published widely on counterterrorism polices of Central Asian republics, democratization of Georgia, Russia's foreign policy, and human rights practices in the post-Soviet states. She is the author of Counterterrorism Policies in Central Asia (Routledge, forthcoming).
